What is Hydrafacial® Platinum?

Hydrafacial is essentially an advanced form of hydrodermabrasion.

The Hydrafacial Platinum treatment begins with a 15-minute lymphatic drainage, ideal for detoxification and skin preparation.

This is followed by the three essential steps of Hydrafacial:

1. Cleansing and Peeling: First, we use Hydrafacial’s Activ-4 to prepare the skin and begin exfoliation. Even at this early stage, changes in the skin start to appear as we not only cleanse but also nourish it.

Then we apply an additional serum, a combination of glycolic acid and salicylic acid.

This mixture acts like a painless liquid microneedling, leaving the skin radiant and renewed.

2. Extraction and Hydration:

In this step, we use Beta-HD Clear to clean the pores and hydrate the skin, focusing on the T-zone with gentle, slow movements. We then neutralize the skin.

3. Fusing and Protecting:

We select a booster that best addresses the client’s specific skin concerns.

After the first two steps, the pores are open and clean, allowing deeper penetration of the booster.

Following this, we perform LED light therapy with LightStim Ellipsa, choosing between blue and yellow light based on the client’s needs.

Finally, we fuse and protect the skin with the Antiox Plus solution, applying it generously across the entire face and gently massaging it in.

More layers may be necessary for dry skin. We conclude with a manual massage using a suitable moisturizing lotion and apply a high-quality sunscreen to protect the freshly treated skin.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS AFTER A HYDRAFACIAL® TREATMENT

It is important to follow certain care instructions after receiving a Hydrafacial® treatment to maintain the results and health of your skin. Here are some recommendations to keep in mind:

1. Wait at least 2 weeks before or after a facial exfoliation, chemical peel, or microdermabrasion treatment to receive a Hydrafacial®.

2. Avoid getting a facial exfoliation or chemical peel before a Hydrafacial® to prevent additional skin sensitivity.

3. Do not use retinoids or exfoliating products 2 days before or after treatment to avoid irritation.

4. Wait at least 48 hours before waxing, shaving, or using hair removal creams after the treatment, as the treated skin may be sensitive.

5. Avoid sauna visits 1 day before and after the treatment, as heat can irritate the skin.

6. Refrain from activities that make you sweat or wash your face for at least 6 hours after the treatment.

7. After the treatment, avoid applying makeup for the remainder of the day to allow the skin to breathe.

8. Use a good sunscreen to protect your skin, especially after a facial treatment.

9. Try to avoid direct sun exposure for at least 1 week after the treatment to protect the freshly treated skin.

10. Change your pillowcase the night after the treatment, as your skin may be sensitive and needs to rest on a clean surface.

11. Schedule your Hydrafacial® treatment at least 2 days before an important event to allow the skin to recover and look its best.
